Before You Start
- Have a personal Facebook profile to confirm your identity
- Use your Facebook username and password to sign into Business Manager (more secure)
- If you have a partner to add make sure you have your partner’s business ID.
Create a Business Account
- Go to business.facebook.com/overview
- Click Create account.
- Enter a name for your business, your name and work email address, and click Next.
- Enter your business details and click Submit.

Adding/Claiming your Facebook Business account within your Business Manager
- Click Pages in left column
- Add -> Add a Page
- Type the Facebook Page name or URL
- Add Page

- Click Business Info in left column
- Fill out all the Business Details
- Business Options -> Two-factor authentication -> Everyone
Adding Users
- Click People in left column
- Click Add
- Type the address(s) of who you’d like to give access to your business manager -> Next
- Full Control -> Manage -> Next
- Click Partners in left column
- Click Add
- Click Give a partner access to your assets
- Enter Partner’s business ID (found in Business Info) -> Next
Why is Creating a Business Manager a Good Practice?
This will allow you to share access to your Ad Accounts and Pages easily to allow partners to troubleshoot issues, produce ads, and make changes from profile images to developing an audience to target. Having a business account also allows you to track the statistics of your ads.
