This account setup is for your business and is not your personal Instagram account. Instagram is accessed through a username and password only rather than administrators on the account, which is different than how your Facebook business page is set up.
Not sure if you have an Instagram business account?
- Search Instagram for your business and see if an account comes up from your search
- Ask a co-worker, friend, or family member to search for your business.
- Login to Facebook and see if an Instagram account is connected to your Facebook business page
- Check your practice’s website to see if a link exists to an account
- Search Google to see if an account is found
If you do not find an Instagram account for your business, you will need to create a new account at Instagram.com.
Creating an Instagram business account
Go to Instagram.com to create a new account. Sign up using your business information, such as an info@ email. After following the prompts to create an account, you will switch your account type to a “professional account” which will provide more contact information visible to users from your profile.
