Two-step authentication is a recommended best practice for your social accounts. This security feature better protects your account in the event that someone should try to access your account without permission, protecting not only your personal account, but your business account.
To set up two-step authentication, begin by logging into your personal Facebook account.
- Go to Accounts Center.
- Click
Password and security in the left menu.
- Click Two-factor authentication.
- Select either the Authentication app or Text message (SMS), then click Next.
- Follow the on-screen instructions for your chosen option.
